Buffalo Lodge

“Buffalo Lodge was our most memorable stay in New Zealand during our honeymoon. It's a quiet, beautiful place that offers a great view over the forest and the coast of Coromandel. The Lodge itself is very comfortable and full of light, with a nice open space, a well stocked kitchen and even a little library on the top floor. The host was very kind and even prepared a homemade breakfast for us. They provided a booklet full of information about Coromandel with lots of useful suggestions about activities and places to visit. Our room was clean, tidy and had a nice little balcony to enjoy the view. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back one day!”

“I don‘t know where to start! Everything was just perfect! It‘s a little sanctuary in the jungle. The apartment is huge and so wonderfully decorated! I loved all the little details. Every single cup in the kitchen was a gem! The views from the balcony are stunning. Also the breakfast was amazing. Homemade, delicious food. I couldn’t have wished for more. I had only arrived in NZ a couple of days ago. The trip and Auckland were exhausting. Staying here, I was able to breathe again. Thanks!”

“I stayed here for a weekend in February, and it was gorgeous! The views from my balcony were breathtaking, and the interior design of all the spaces was extremely soothing. Natural woods, big glass windows. I took photos so I could buy some of the items for my own home when I returned. I greatly enjoyed the ease of access and sense of remoteness.
